Costa Rica - BRS International Registration Body announces that TICO Verde SA is the first exporter of Rumhora Adiantiformis (Leather Leaf Fern) receiving ISO 14001:2004 registration. The scope of activities include harvesting, processing, packaging and shipping of Rumhora Adiantiformis, which are for exports to regions of Europe, North America and Japan. It was a requirement of TICO Verde SA having the most stringent and valid certificate of registration under European Accreditation from a Registration Body operating in the Americas.

BRS EMS assessment teams thoroughly assessed TICO Verde SA and Reacciones Quimicas SA de CV environmental management systems and found meeting the stringent criteria of BRS. Raad voor Accreditatie joined witnessing the assessment of TICO Verde SA and Reacciones Quimicas SA de CV.
