Guidance Notes:

The table above is for initial assessments. The contractual year assessment days must add to the initial assessment day.

A minimum of 8-hour day comprise an assessment day.

There are provisions to adjust assessment-days based on IAF Guidance and BRS procedures. Assessment time may be reduce by 33% provided there is approval by Assessment Program Managemer (Renata) and/or Managing Director (Vic). Other provisions for deductions beyond 30% requires approval of the Managing Director.

Some of the deciding affecting factors for deciding assessment days are (adding or subtracting):

  • Complicated logistics
  • Personnel speaking a multitude of languages
  • Very large site for the number of people (e.g. a timberland, mining sites)
  • Complexity of processes with very unique activities
  • Processes involving sw, hw, fw, service...
  • Organization is already registered with another recognized 3rd party
  • Maturity of the management system
  • High percentage of repetitive tasks or similar
